One has constructed this essay in a manner in which the reader will be able to appreciate the motives of discrimination and inequality, and when they could take place; as well as the definition and the impact they have, not only on the LGBT community but society as a whole. Throughout this essay, one will attempt to identify the manifestation of inequality in the modern society, which in spite of everything is still occurring even after the Equality Act 2010 has come into practice and it introduced the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED). This essay will focus on and around the inequality experienced by the LGBT community only, while keeping in mind of the fact that many other communities are suffering due to the injustice caused by discrimination.
